This workshop draws artists into the process and philosophy behind creating environmentally immersive spaces for children with diverse needs. It will be a hands-on creative workshop to explore environments that can draw children into a theatrical world through their senses, working with multiple needs in touch, sensation and diverse intelligence.

This workshop asks participating artists to create an immersive space together, exploring the different potentials of response from children with complex needs. Using simple materials, including light and sound, to transform space, artists will work towards creating dramaturgy through design, a way of travelling through or within spaces that provides a journey of sensation for the child participants.
